Machine Learning (ML) is a type of artificial intelligence that involves training computer algorithms to learn from data and improve over time. Machine learning can be used to make predictions, identify patterns, and automate decision-making processes. Within the Kohort platform, ML is used in a number of ways, such as to automatically identify annual or weekly seasonal trends within the Actuals data, and apply them to the forecast, or to learn the pattern of user behaviour around past gaming events and apply this behaviour to future planned events.
